Full List Of Youth Summer Camps In Annapolis, How To Enroll

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Area parents looking for something fun for their kids to do this summer can enroll them in one of numerous camps and programs offered by the City of Annapolis. From embarking upon field trips to swimming, playing games and sports, to creating crafts and dabbling in the arts, there’s plenty for youth ages 4 to 15 to enjoy once school is out for summer.

Camp Annapolis, which used to be called Truxtun Park Day Camp, is a state-licensed traditional day camp spanning eight weeks of the summer split into two-week sessions. They’re open to kids ages four to 15 with themed weeks and field trips. Breakfast and lunch is provided Monday through Thursday. The camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Community Enrichment Camps, previously called Recreation Enrichment Camps, also are state licensed and encourage youth to meet new people and learn more about what makes Annapolis so great. A morning and afternoon shuttle is provided for families, as is breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday. Camp is held at the “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center on Fridays.

Specialty camps available include the Summer Kick-Off Camp for ages seven to 12 with swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts; the End of Summer Celebration Camp; and Splash Camps offering a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports and activities including afternoon pool time.

Welcome to Summer 2019! Summer Kick-Off Camp is designed to start the summer off right with safe, fun, and engaging activities for campers ages 7-12! This camp will host numerous summer fun activities like swimming, games, sports as well as arts and crafts. Campers will need to bring a bag lunch, drink and snack each day. End of Summer Celebration August 26-30
Our End of Summer Celebration Camp is designed to end the summer right with safe, fun, and engaging activities to keep your children moving the las week of summer! This camp will highlight all of the best activities summer has to offer, and will end with a themed celebration. Campers will need to bring a bagged lunch, drink and snack daily. Splash Camps (ages 6-12)

Annapolis Recreation and Parks Splash Camps include a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports and activities aimed to develop individual skills as well as teamwork. Campers will play a sport or participate in an activity in the morning followed by swimming at the pool in the afternoon daily. Lunch is provided Monday through Thursday.
