ARNOLD, MD — Anne Arundel Community College will celebrate its graduates with a drive-by commencement ceremony on Thursday. The event will feature more than 300 students who will pick up their diploma jackets while parading across the Arnold campus.

AACC employees will cheer the scholars on from several stations along the route. College officials will announce each graduate's name as they pass by.

"No matter what it looks like, commencement is a highlight of the academic year," AACC President Dawn Lindsay said in a press release. "Our students and what they have accomplished this year is extraordinary. We are grateful for the opportunity to acknowledge their achievements, and excited to celebrate their hard work in a safe and creative way."
