Guitars, Shotgun Stolen in Theft From Vehicle

Police are investigating several other recent thefts from vehicles.

A shotgun and three guitars were taken over the weekend from an Annapolis vehicle.

The theft happened in the 600 block of Americana Drive sometime between 8:30 and 11 p.m. Saturday, according to police. The Remington shotgun and three guitars—a Martin acoustic, Garrison acoustic and a Mandolin guitar with an electric pick up—were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Between 8:45 p.m. Thursday and 8:45 a.m. Friday, money was taken from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Miami Avenue that may have been left unlocked, according to police.

In a separate incident earlier this month, money was also taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Janice Drive. The theft happened between noon on Aug. 11 and noon on Aug. 12, according to police.

Between 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of West Street, but took nothing, according to police.
