An array of holiday events awaits revelers this month including an appearance by the Budweiser Clydesdales and a parade in the harbor.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — There are many ways to usher in the holidays around Annapolis, including a meet-and-greet holiday open house with Mayor Gavin Buckley and his wife Julie Dec. 5 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester. Winterfest will take place Dec. 7-8 and Dec. 14-15 from noon to 6 p.m. along Giddings Avenue in West Annapolis. The holiday market will sparkle with glowing lights and festive trees, and feature artisans, crafters, food and mulled wine, champagne, cocktails and hot chocolate.
The Holiday Candlelight Stroll will be held Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 6 through Dec. 21 between 7 and 8:30 p.m. The tours depart from the information booth at City Dock and share the origin of holiday traditions while enjoying a tour of the festively decorated area, including the Hammond-Harwood House.
