IdentoGo TSA Pre✓ Mobile RV To Screen Flyers In Anne Arundel Co.

ANNAPOLIS, MD -- For an easier time traveling, the IdentoGo TSA Pre✓® Mobile RV will be stopping in Annapolis and Glen Burnie this summer to conduct Transportation Security Administration pre-check screening and help Maryland frequent flyers get approved.

Obtaining pre-check screening means flyers do not need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA Pre✓® has more than 450 lanes at more than 200 U.S. airports. The RV will be stopping in Glen Burning at AAA's Car Care Insurance and Travel Center, 10 Holsum Way, from July 30 to Aug. 2. The RV also will be at AAA's Annapolis Car Care Center, 2054 Somerville Rd., from Aug. 5-9.

“TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience,” said Ragina C. Ali, public and government affairs manager at AAA Mid-Atlantic in a statement.

AAA Members and non-members must register in advance for enrollment at the IdentoGo TSA Pre✓® Mobile RV. Follow these steps to pre-enroll and be sure to schedule an appointment online. Don't forget to bring your proof of U.S. Citizenship with you to your appointment!

1. Click here to access the application page
2. Click “Start Application Now”, then click “New Enrollment ”
3. Fill out Steps and choose “Next” at the bottom of each screen
4. Type in your location at Zipcode/City/Airport Code box – search
5. Choose the AAA location near you and click “Next”
6. Select your desired appointment time (Please be sure to make note of your appointment time, no reminders will be sent out.)

Participants will finish the process onsite by providing fingerprints for a background check. The application fee is $85 and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check or certified/cashier's check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

“With the busy summer travel season in full swing, having the TSA Pre✓® Mobile RV onsite at AAA will help make the process much easier for travelers to avoid long lines at the airport,” Ali said.

Children ages 12 and younger may use the TSA Pre✓® lane when traveling with a parent or guardian who has the indicator on their boarding pass. Travelers 13 years of age and older without a TSA Pre✓® boarding pass must go through standard security lanes.
