Kids Perform 'Frozen Jr.' Musical After Year Of Delays: Report
A kids theater company will perform "Frozen Jr." in Annapolis, a report said. Coronavirus delayed the musical three times, the story added.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Children’s Theatre of Annapolis will perform "Frozen Jr." this month, The Kent Island Bay Times and Record Observer reported. The coronavirus pandemic delayed the musical three times, the newspaper noted. The story explained that the play, which was originally scheduled for May 2020, will premier Friday night.
"Like the rest of the world, CTA was hit hard by the pandemic, as we closed our doors for nearly a full year, incurring incredible financial losses," President Kelsey Casselbury told The Kent Island Bay Times and Record Observer. "Our theater felt so devoid of life, but we’re thrilled to be mounting our first musical production since November 2019."
The news outlet added that the play, which is adapted from Disney's hit movie "Frozen," will run this weekend and next. The theater is limited to 75 percent capacity, and masks are required, the paper mentioned.
