MD Gas Station Gives Vaccine Bonus To Workers Who Get The Shot

A chain of Maryland gas stations will give a bonus to employees who get the coronavirus vaccine. Hint: Think potato wedges.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Royal Farms will give a $50 bonus to employees who get the coronavirus vaccine, the gas station chain announced last Wednesday. The incentive lasts through the end of the year.

"Royal Farms believes it is important that all its essential workers are vaccinated," company President John Kemp said in a press release. "Getting the COVID-19 vaccine gives an added layer of protection against COVID-19 and could also protect coworkers and their own families."

The bonus will come after workers complete their full immunization schedule. The staffers will also get a sticker showing that they're vaccinated, if they so choose.
