ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The presidential election gets the most attention, but Anne Arundel County has several local races as well. Three Board of Education seats are up for grabs in the general election.

It's time to get to know one of the candidates. Meet Raleigh Turnage, a candidate for District 2 on the school board.

"Raleigh’s love for education began when he realized that without a good education, his quality of life would be very slim. He grew up from humble beginnings in Cherry Hill in South Baltimore.
