Mobile COVID-19 Vaccinators Help Anne Arundel, Prince George's
A mobile coronavirus vaccine clinic will now serve senior centers in Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A group of Maryland hospitals opened a mobile coronavirus vaccination clinic last week. The operation, ran by Luminis Health, will immunize residents of assisted living facilities in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties
"Seniors are the most vulnerable to this virus," Luminis Health Nurse Charlotte Wallace said in a press release. "Vaccinating them as quickly as possible brings us closer to ending this pandemic."
The vaccinators come from Luminis' two local facilities: Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis and Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham. The team made its firsts stop last Friday, visiting Bowman Place, a senior community in the state capital.
