There are several new stores downtown that all have options for shopping for Mom. They include The Cottage on Main, a new clothing, jewelry and gift store, Welcome Home a store that is filled with kitchen essentials, Curate for when you want a local inhouse pastry chef to make your scones, tarts and quiche and Gallery 57 West for a handmade gift from a local artist.
The above stores all complement the over 90 stores already in downtown Annapolis that are filled with unique gifts. Many are advertising specials or new items for Mom.

Nancy Hammond Editions has floral prints that are 15% off this week[,] and Season’s Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom has a wide range of award-winning olive oils, bottles of vinegar, and specialty food items[. Plus,] this Saturday they are also hosting a popup shop with their store for extra gift ideas. For coffee lovers, Mango + Main has a gift set which includes 3 bags of coffee, a mug, and a coffee scoop. Luna Blu is offering cheese and wine pairings to go.
If you are taking Mom out to eat, stop first on Church Circle and pick her up a [bouquet] of flowers at the flower stand. From there you have about 80 options for dining out.
Our first recommendation is to check and see if your favorite restaurant does reservations. If yes, they are recommended for this weekend.
From there[,] it is deciding if Mom wants an Afternoon Tea at Reynolds Tavern, fine dining from Harry Browne’s Restaurant, Lewnes’ Steakhouse, or Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen. For water view dining there is Buddy’s Crab & Ribs, Carrol’s Creek Café, Latitude 38, and Pusser’s Caribbean Grille. For those that want to dine outdoors, almost every restaurant has outdoor dining options in downtown Annapolis.
The best ... weekend parking deals for downtown Annapolis can be found at the Calvert Street Parking Garage (19 St. Johns Street) which has free parking all weekend and the Whitmore Parking Garage (25 Clay Street) which is free on Sundays before 4 pm and $6 or less all day Saturday.
If Mom needs a weekend away, check out some of Annapolis’ historic lodging options including the Flag House Inn, Georgian House, Gibson’s Lodging, and Reynolds Tavern. These intimate properties will all treat Mom special on her next visit.
A visit to downtown Annapolis will provide you a unique experience anytime as you stroll the historic streets to shop the local boutiques and galleries, check out the public art, get out on the water, or explore the many flavors offered at all the downtown restaurants.
