Nando's Offers Teachers Free Chicken For Appreciation Day

Nando's PERi-PERi will honor educators and school staff with free chicken at all U.S. locations for Teacher Appreciation Day.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A restaurant chain announced that it will honor teachers next week with a free chicken dinner. For Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, May 7, Nando’s PERi-PERi will offer teachers free flame-grilled chicken at its 42 U.S. restaurants, including its eatery at Westfields Annapolis Mall.

Any teacher, educator or school employee with a valid school ID is entitled to a free quarter-chicken entrée at Nando’s in Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and all other locations. The promotion is valid from 11 a.m. to closing next Tuesday. No purchase is necessary; sides are sold separately.

“Teachers work hard and deserve some extra credit on Teacher Appreciation Day,” said John Fisher, CEO of Nando’s PERi-PERi USA, in a press release. “This is our small way of thanking them for their hard work every day.”
