Naval Academy Band Blues & Gold To Perform Feb. 7 In Annapolis

The blues-inspired ensemble will perform in Annapolis Feb. 7.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Naval Academy Band's newest ensemble, Blues & Gold, will perform a pre-Valentine's Day concert Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Under the direction of Rory Cherry, chief musician, Blues & Gold will perform classic blues and blues-infused music from artists such as B.B. King and Muddy Waters, as well as contemporary hits by guitar virtuosi Joe Bonamassa and Eric Clapton. The ensemble was formed in 2019.

Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public. Preregistration is highly recommended and tickets can be reserved at https://www.marylandhall.org/all-performances. Maryland Hall is located at 801 Chase St.
