Peggy Jane Baldwin, 85, of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis, died on June 29, 2016, at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on December 13, 1930 to the late William Thomas and Elva Gertrude Burton, Peggy graduated from Newport News High School in June of 1948. She worked at the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company as an information operator and in the drafting engineering department for 17 years.

Peggy was a former member of the Annapolis Power Squadron Powerettes and the West River Yacht Club Buoy Belles. She and her late husband, Russell Y. Baldwin, travelled around the world aboard 13 different cruise ships. Her hobbies included jazz music, modeling clothes for the clubs she belonged to and the Washington Redskins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends are invited to celebrate Peggy's life on Thursday, July 7, from 3:30 pm until her funeral service begins at 4pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
