Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide in Glen Burnie

Police say both of the deceased men apparently lived in the home.

Two men were found shot to death in a Glen Burnie home Monday night in what police say is likely a murder-suicide.

Anne Arundel County Police arrived at the home on Wendover Rd. at 5 p.m. after a report of shots fired. Inside, they found two men dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives said it appears the men were both residents of the home. There were others inside, but they were not injured.

"Preliminarily, this incident appears to be a murder-suicide," police wrote in the report.

The incident is still being investigated, but police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.  No motive for the incident has been established, and no identification has been released, pending notification of family members.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact Anne Arundel County police at 410-222-3566.
