Annapolis police reported the robbery, thefts from vehicles and two burglaries.

Annapolis police say a jogger was robbed and assaulted Saturday evening.

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, a man was jogging near a baseball field in the unit block of Truxton Park, where he was approached by a woman coming from a party at a pavilion.

The woman accused him of taking items from the pavilion. While she was talking to him, the man saw several other people approaching. One struck him in the back of the head, then the assailants punched him in the head and torso and took his iPhone. The man suffered a broken nose and multiple bruises, according to police.

In a separate incident, someone entered three unlocked vehicles at a home in the 1000 block of Moss Haven Court between 5 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. From one, the intruder took loose change from a center console and a flashlight from the glove box. From another, the thief took change, headphones and an E-Z Pass.

Police also reported two burglaries. One was in the 1900 block of Drew Street between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Someone entered an unlocked shed and took a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower and a bicycle. The homeowner later found the bike at Parole and Drew streets, according to police.

In the 700 block of Warren Drive between noon Thursday and 2:20 a.m. Saturday, someone broke out a window and ransacked a residence. The burglar destroyed electronics and appliances, but police said it's unknown if anything was taken.
