Signing up for programs at Annapolis Senior Activity Center

It's time to sign up for next week's programs at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center.

Just a reminder that you need to sign up for next week’s programs at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center.

Use this link: https://www.aacounty.org/departments/aging-and-disabilities/senior-center/

Scroll down until you see “Annapolis Senior Activity Center.” DON’T CLICK ON IT. Click on “Register for Activities” that is right below it.

That will take you to a page that tells you what activities/classes will be offered at the Annapolis center May 10-16. Note that the center is only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will tell you how many spots are in each program (usually 15, 30, or 4) and how many people are already registered. It will tell you the time, classroom, teacher, presenter or entertainer, and about the events. Hit “Sign up” on the right if you are interested, and there are still spots in the program. Don’t forget to “Submit and Sign Up” at the bottom of the page.

If you’re not registered for an activity, you will not be allowed in the center. You will only be allowed in the center for whatever you have registered for. No food or drink and you must wear a mask. Bottled water and masks will be provided if needed and if you have to eat for some medical condition, that can be worked out.

Each week the Department of Aging and Disabilities will put out a list on Monday for the next week’s events.

You’ll also have to fill out a waiver and health summary at the center.

In addition to the in-person classes at the center, virtual programs will continue. Go to https://www.aacounty.org/departments/aging-and-disabilities/senior-center/ to view all the virtual events or sign up for a newsletter of the virtual events.

For more information, call the Department of Aging and Disabilities at 410-222-4464.
