Suspected Cocaine, Opioids, Marijuana Found On July 4: Police
Police said they found suspected cocaine, opioids and marijuana during a July 4 traffic stop in Glen Burnie.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police said they found suspected cocaine, opioids and marijuana during a Glen Burnie traffic stop on Sunday. Officers noted that they arrested the accused Severna Park passenger.
Authorities explained that they stopped a gray Chevrolet sedan around 2:32 a.m. near Tall Pines Court and Elvaton Road. Officials mentioned that they originally stopped the car to check a potential registration violation.
Police added that their conversation with the driver led to a search of the car and its occupants. Officers reported finding:

- 51 baggies of suspected crack cocaine (11.75 grams)
- 1 large bag of suspected crack cocaine (23.61 grams)
- 3 baggies of suspected marijuana (27.27 grams)
- 13 Oxycodone pills
The Anne Arundel County Police Department identified the arrested passenger as 35-year-old Cory Leroy Brooks.
