Suspended Cop Accused Of Hiding Stepson's Body In Wall: Report
A suspended police officer is accused of hiding his stepson's body inside a wall after a custody dispute, The Baltimore Sun reported.

CURTIS BAY, MD — Prosecutors accused a suspended Baltimore Police Department officer of hiding his stepson's body in a wall after a custody dispute, The Baltimore Sun reported Thursday. The boy was identified as 15-year-old Dasan Jones, the newspaper clarified.
A trio of reporters wrote that the suspect, 34-year-old Eric G. Banks Jr., faces charges of assault and resisting arrest. Charging documents alleged that Banks tried to snatch the gun of a responding officer, the journalists specified.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause and manner of the child's death, an incident report noted.

Officers added that they found the teenager unresponsive around 4:56 p.m. Tuesday when they arrived to the 1400 block of Stoney Point Way in Curtis Bay. Medics took the minor to an unnamed hospital where he died soon after, authorities explained.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department called the death "suspicious." The agency mentioned that it will give more information when it is available.
