Teens Charged in Annapolis Thefts From Vehicles

Annapolis police arrested two men, both 18, in connection with three thefts from vehicles.

Annapolis police arrested two 18-year-olds in connection with at least three thefts from vehicles early Thursday.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., a witness reported two people were looking into vehicles in the area of McKendree Ave. and Virginia Ave. Responding police found two suspects, and one discarded a GPS unit as he fled from the officers.

Police eventually arrested the suspects–one from Glen Burnie and one from Annapolis–and charged them with theft of less than $1,000 and rogue and vagabond.

The GPS unit was found to have been stolen from a vehicle, and two more vehicles had been entered, resulting in the taking of an iPod Touch which was not recovered, according to police.
