'That's True Love': Maryland Father's Day Photos, Messages

While we owe Dad a debt of gratitude every day, Sunday, June 17, is Father's Day. In celebration, we asked for your favorite father-son photos. We received some that looked like dad and his mini-me, and others that show dads, grandpas and other men who are loved family members.

Wishing These Edgewater, Davidsonville Dads A Happy Father's Day

Lisa Marquis of Edgewater shared the above photo of her husband and son, Joe and Nathan Marquis. They had this special message for dad: "Married a Marine and brought him here after he drug me around the world a bit," she wrote.

And Jill Allen of Davidsonville sent this photo of her husband, Devin, and son, Wyatt. "They're my gentle giants and have the sweetest relationship. I love seeing my son look up to his father which he will one day look exactly like!"

Kim Miller of Davidsonville wanted us to see the mini-me look of her husband and son, Sheldon and Bryce. We couldn't agree more.

"That's true love!" said the caption with the picture, taken as Bentley Reedy gave his father, David Reedy, an adorable hug and kiss. The family was on a trip to Ocean City.

Krysten Jenci of Chevy Chase shared this photo of Chris Rosettie and his son Ben at a fall hayride in 2018.

Cassandra Yates of Severn shared this photo of her son, Jeffery Jr., and his son, Jeffery III. She had this special message about her son: "The bond they share is remarkable. I'm proud of the man and father he has become."

Proud Annapolis Grandpa Shares Photo Of 'My 6 Little Monkeys'

Tom Konisiewicz of Annapolis sent us a photo of him surrounded by his grandchildren "taken on my birthday with all six of my little monkeys. Ages at the time range from 8 years old to a few months," he says.

Hero, Role Model, Amazing Dad: Edgewater Father's Day Photo

Polly Aquilino of Edgewater shared this photo of her husband, Timothy, and their great-niece. "Tim is an amazing dad to our three grown children, but now also a hero, role model and "Uncle Tim" to our great-niece, Brailee.

Judy Rice of Severn shared this photo of her husband, Lysle, and son, Jared. "They grow up, last walk of college drop off day," she wrote of the picture taken in August 2017 in Salisbury, Maryland.
