Tornado Warning Issued In Anne Arundel, Prince George's: NWS
Parts of Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties went under a tornado warning Thursday afternoon. Here's what to look out for.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties on Thursday afternoon. Meteorologists posted the bulletin at 3:33 p.m., and it is set to expire at 4 p.m.
Weather officials said they spotted a storm on the radar near Londontowne and Bowie that could produce a twister. It is moving east at 50 mph. The storm could also bring hail the size of a quarter.

- Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
- Eastport
"TAKE COVER NOW!" the National Weather Service said. "Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris."
