Uncle Julio’s Coming To Annapolis Restaurant Park
Uncle Julio's models restaurants after an early 20th century hacienda, with a bar, main dining room, private dining room, patios, and more.

From Rosso CRE: Developers have announced that Uncle Julio’s, a Texas-based Tex-Mex restaurant, will replace Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que off Jennifer Road in Annapolis. Rosso Commercial represented the landlord, The Beatson Companies, in securing Uncle Julio’s and negotiating business terms of their lease for the corner restaurant location at the Annapolis Restaurant Park.
John Rosso of RossoCRE said in a news release, “The Annapolis market should bode well for Uncle Julio’s. The restaurant concept is both family friendly and fun, while providing high quality, made-from-scratch Mexican food.”
He added, “Ownership had the rare opportunity to re-merchandise this important piece of real estate, located at the #1 intersection to Annapolis Mall, and knew Julio’s would be a winner. We had negotiated with them once in the past but the timing just was not right. This time around everything aligned.”

Uncle Julio’s, with current Maryland-units in Bethesda and Gaithersburg, models restaurants after an early 20th century hacienda, with a bar, main dining room, private dining room, an indoor/outdoor patio and a sidewalk cafe area. The interiors consist of several rooms decorated with a mixture of wood, plaster, polished concrete and cantera stone. The restaurant offers a unique and authentic experience built around original recipes that demand the freshest, handpicked ingredients. The combination of Mexican cooking expertise with fresh, locally grown Texan ingredients created a new style of fare that is far from what you find elsewhere as “Tex-Mex.”
Uncle Julio’s is currently in permitting with Anne Arundel County with plans to demo the old Famous Dave’s building and rebuild the property to their newest prototype model. Other restaurants at Annapolis Restaurant Park include The Greene Turtle, Fuddruckers and Red Lobster.
