ANNAPOLIS, MD — Leaders around the country are debating coronavirus vaccine passports. As the immunization becomes more accessible, some residents question if states or businesses should require proof of inoculation to enter large events. Gov. Larry Hogan has not yet addressed the proposal, but it is starting to become a hot topic.

Supporters think vaccine passports could make gatherings safer. Opponents argue that mandating a shot infringes on a person's freedom to choose.
