What's Open, Closed in Annapolis on Good Friday

Government offices will be closed on the March 25 holiday. Refuse and recycling will not be affected.

ANNAPOLIS, MD--Good Friday and Maryland Day are observed holidays for the City of Annapolis government and city government offices will be closed both days.

Good Friday will be observed on March 25. Refuse and recycling will not be affected but Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. View the schedule here.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools and central offices will be closed until March 28. 

Maryland Day will be observed on March 28. Refuse and recycling will not be affected and Annapolis Transit will operate on a normal schedule.

The Pride of Baltimore II will also be hosting a Maryland Day celebration on March 25. The public is invited to a commemorative ceremony and free deck tours of the vessel. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Annapolis City Dock.
