ANNAPOLIS, MD — A local man tried to flee from city police and hide underneath a house Friday night after residents spotted him peering into the windows of homes in the 500 block of Burnside Street, according to a police report. The officers arrived on the scene at 7:40 p.m. and checked the area around Burnside Street, the report added. Another resident in the area told them the same man ran through his backyard.
