Youngster Had Rough Start To Life, Senior Cat Has 'Heart Of Gold'

Valiente is still learning to trust humans. Even at age 16, Mr. Peaches has "a heart of gold." These pets and more need loving homes.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is looking for homes for these cuties. If you are interested in adopting one of this week's adorable adoptables, head to the SPCA website

Valiente: Meet Valiente! This handsome young cat is full of energy and loves to explore. He had a rough start to life and was used to taking care of himself, but he is slowly opening up and learning to trust humans. Valiente has made so much progress! Treats and toys are the quickest way to his heart.

Stacey Gabby: Stacey Gabby is a beautiful 11 year old cat. Poor Stacey has been bounced around to many homes in her life, she's looking for a forever place where she can settle down. Stacey Gabby is a classic cat- she likes attention but she isn't too needy. Stacey Gabby is happy just to hang out nearby, she doesn't have to be all up in your space.

Mr. Peaches: Mr. Peaches is a 16 year old Maine Coon mix. This big, hunky boy arrived with some matted hair that had to be shaved, so please pardon his haircut. Beneath the scraggly coat is a heart of gold. Mr Peaches has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. He deserves a warm and loving home for his golden years, but would be happiest as an only cat.

Piper: Beautiful princess Piper is four years young. She has plenty of pep and energy and loves to take long walks and snuggle up with her people. Piper is very affectionate with humans but would prefer to be the only pet. She has so much love to share!
