$20K Winning Scratch-off Ticket Claimed By Pasadena Man

The Pasadena winner and his fiance couldn't believe their luck when the scratch-off ticket revealed they'd won $20,000.

PASADENA, MD — A 53-year-old Pasadena man and his fiance shopping at Geresbeck's Food Market decided to buy a few scratch tickets. They could not believe their luck when one of the scratch tickets won $20,000. His fiance selected a Lucky Bingo scratch-off ticket that cost $2 out of their purchases.

The man worked his way through the other instant tickets he had bought after they arrived home that night and none of them were winners. His fiance pulled hers out and scratched it while fixing dinner. She screamed from the kitchen when she discovered they had won.

“I thought she had cut her hand. I just heard her half screaming, half crying and I rushed to see what was happening,” said the winner.
