Anne Arundel County Warming Centers Open Through Saturday

Anne Arundel County district police stations will serve as warming centers for the next few days.

Police district community rooms in Anne Arundel County will be open 24 hours as warming centers through noon Saturday, according to an alert issued by the Southern District Stations. 

An arctic blast brought frigid temperatures and wind chills into the region Wednesday. Temperatures will remain dangerously cold through Friday night, with low temperatures in the teens and wind chills of as low as 4 degrees below zero.

All police district community rooms will be open 24 hours as warming centers through noon Saturday, Jan. 25. The community rooms are located at the following addresses: 

  • Southern District, 35 Stepneys Ln., Edgewater
  • Northern District, 939 Hammonds Ln., Baltimore
  • Eastern District, 3700 Mountain Rd., Pasadena
  • Western District, 8273 Telegraph Rd., Odenton
Area residents who are in need of additional resources should call the Anne Arundel County Warm Line at 1-800-485-0041. The line is staffed 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
