How to Give Back to Your Community in Anne Arundel

During the holiday season, there is no shortage of opportunities to help those in need in our community. Though we are most charitable during the holidays, help is needed year-round. 

We here at Patch want to make is as easy as possible for these charity drives, fundraisers, volunteer openings, and other opportunities to be found—and for you to find them.

If you know of an opportunity, post it to our Giving Back in Anne Arundel section. It can be anything from a bake sale or a fundraiser to help an ailing friend with medical costs to holiday coat drives to, well, anything charitable that helps our community! 

Here's how to post:

1. Sign in to Patch or create a new account.
2. Visit the Giving Back in Anne Arundel section.
3. Click "Write a new post."
4. Give your post a title for the headline, add some text and, if possible, upload a photo to jazz it up. (Including a photo will increase the chances of the post appearing in a premium spot on the home page.)
