New Business: Coastal Living Furniture, Cupcakes

Do you love beach house decor with classic styling and a soothing palette of colors? Annapolis Patch checked out Maine Cottage—a new coastal living furniture store. Although the 2,000-square-foot showroom at 209 West St. in Annapolis just opened, Maine Cottage has roots in Severna Park where some local residents started the business 10 years ago under the name Russell & Mackenna.

'Tis the season for cupcakes with flavors such as gingerbread and peppermint, which will be available soon in a new retail location of Cupcake Blvd. Crofton Patch learned that the business, which used to be mobile and sold cupcakes out of a food truck, will open Dec. 15 in Suite 104 at 1117 Route 3 North in Gambrills.
