Police: Pasadena Man Shoots Girlfriend's Small Dog
Police charged Clint Mowry with animal cruelty and reckless endangerment after the incident Saturday night.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Pasadena man after he shot and killed his girlfriend's newly-adopted dog on Saturday night, according to a department press release.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 700 block of 224th Street in Pasadena for a report of shots fired, police said.
The caller gave police a description of the suspect and officers found the man in the front yard, according to the release.
Inside the home, police found the victim's small, mixed-breed dog dead from a gunshot wound. The initial investigation suggests the dog nipped at the victim's boyfriend, who became "enraged" and chased the dog into the kitchen before shooting it, according to police.
Police arrested Clint Matthew Mowry, 33, and charged him with animal cruelty and reckless endangerment.
Another incident of animal cruelty occurred last month in Anne Arundel County, when a Davidsonville woman found someone shot her cat—non-fatally—with a two-foot arrow.
