Schuh to Chair Anne Arundel Delegation
Del. Steve Schuh was elected chairman of the Anne Arundel County General Assembly Delegation on Thursday.
State delegates from Anne Arundel County elected Del. Steve Schuh (R–Dist. 31) to chair the 15-member county delegation on Thursday.
The Pasadena Republican has expressed interest in running for county executive in 2014. He now takes the chairmanship duties as Del. Nic Kipke takes on the role of House Minority Leader.
"I am gratified to have the unanimous support of my colleagues," Schuh said in a statement. "This is an exciting opportunity to lead our delegation in making Anne Arundel County a better place to live and work."
In a poll of Patch readers, Steve Schuh was voted the second favorite candidate to win the county executive race, behind Laura Neuman, in 2014, as of 1 p.m. Thursday.
