Seats Are Open On AACPS Parent Involvement Advisory Council
There are 10 clusters with seats open for the Anne Arundel County Public School System's Parent Involvement Advisory Council.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Applications are being accepted to fill openings on the superintendent's parent involvement advisory council for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The council provides input to the superintendent regarding ways to increase family engagement in schools.
The council consists of two representatives from each of the 13 high school clusters, along with appointed representatives from several parent and teacher groups. Two current members have shifted to seats representing the newly-established Crofton cluster. Those moves create openings in the South River and Arundel clusters.
Applicants must have a child enrolled in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Members serve two-year terms. The council conducts morning meetings six times a year at the Parham Administration Building in Annapolis.

- Broadneck Cluster
- Chesapeake Cluster
- Glen Burnie Cluster
- North County Cluster
- Northeast Cluster
- Old Mill Cluster
- Severna Park Cluster
- South River Cluster
- Southern Cluster
