HANOVER, MD — A shopper assaulted an employee at Arundel Mills mall on Monday, police said. The write-up noted that the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. at an apparel store called "Last Stop."

Officers reported that a female worker asked the man to cover his face and nose with his mask. The man refused and instead lifted his shirt, flashing the handle of a black handgun, police added. The report said another female worker asked the suspect to adjust his mask, but he shoved her to the ground.

The accused man then left the store. Officers could not find him.
