Thefts From Vehicles Prompts Police Warning

Anne Arundel County police have received several reports of thefts from vehicles between Laurel and Hanover.

Anne Arundel County police are warning residents of a rash of thefts from vehicles in the past two weeks in Laurel and Hanover, according to a department press release.

Police said residents in two neighborhoods reported thefts of air bags, electronics and money from vehicles in the following 10 locations:

  • 3200 block of Ivy Wood Lane, Laurel
  • 8100 block of Edge Rock Way, Laurel
  • 8100 block of Scenic Meadow Drive, Laurel
  • 8200 block of Brushyridge Road, Laurel
  • 3500 block of Floating Leaf Lane, Laurel
  • 3400 block of Bitterwood Place, Laurel
  • Fair Oaks Drive and Torpoint Court, Hanover
  • 1500 block of Martock Lane, Hanover
  • 1400 block of Pangbourne Way, Hanover
  • 1500 block of Penzance Way, Hanover
Police are advising all residents to lock their doors and keep any valuable items out of plain view, if they must stay inside the vehicle. Residents should report such thefts and suspicious activity to 911.
