Woman Found with Gunshot Wounds Dies in Riviera Beach
Police said they do not believe this is a random incident.
Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found Saturday afternoon in Riviera Beach in Anne Arundel County suffering from gunshot wounds.
On Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11:50 a.m., police said they received reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Meadow Rd. in Riviera Beach. When officers arrived they found an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to police reports. Fire and EMS responded but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman has been identified as Ana Isabel Racine, 21, of the 200 block of Quiet Ridge Court in Pasadena.
Police say the incident does not appear to be random. This incident is being investigated by the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Homicide Unit.
A dark colored mini van was seen leaving the area of this incident, police said, but investigators do not believe there is any danger to the community.
