During the period Feb. 3 – 10, AVFD received 55 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

Arbutus
Feb. 7: At around 10:34 p.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 1200-block of Stevens Avenue. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations responded to find a malfunctioning oil furnace.

Feb. 7: At around 7:44 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported at Rolling Road at Metropolitan Boulevard. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career stations responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

Catonsville
Feb. 8: At around 2:53 p.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 600-block of Cinnamon Tree Court. Crews from AVFD and Catonsville and Westview career stations responded. A chimney fire was extinguished.

Lansdowne
Feb. 5: At around 4:08 a.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 800-block of Regis Court. Crews from the Arbutus and English Consul volunteer stations and Halethorpe career station responded to find a malfunctioning furnace.

Woodlawn
Feb. 7: At around 1:42 p.m., a building fire was reported on the 6400-block of Lehnert Street. Crews from the Arbutus and Pikesville volunteer stations and Catonsville, Randallstown, Westview and Woodlawn career stations responded and extinguished the fire.
