Memorial Service Planned for Toliver
Noon service in University Center ballroom for LaMont Toliver, assistant dean at UMBC who died Feb. 28.
The UMBC community is holding a memorial service for LaMont Toliver, the school's director of the Meyerhoff Scholars Program and assistant dean for undergraduate education, who died suddenly on Feb. 28.
The service will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 7 at noon in the ballroom of the University Center, and is expected to last about an hour.
A viewing will be held with the Toliver family on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at March Funeral Home - West at 4300 Wabash Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215. The funeral home will also be open for viewing hours from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A "Family Hour" and viewing will be held on Thursday, Mar. 8, from 10-11 a.m. at The People's Community Baptist Church at 31 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, 20905. A service will be held immediately following the viewing.
Burial will take place immediately following the service at Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens at 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD 21053.
