Police Blotter: Burglaries in the Area

Oct. 31: At some time since 2 p.m. of the previous day, an unknown person tried to enter a business on the 1440 block of Joh Ave. in Violetville through an overhead door, but did not gain entry to the premises.

Oct. 31: At around 6:40 a.m., a resident on the 100 block of Second Ave. in Lansdowne saw two suspects enter the yard of a neighbor and attempt to take a generator, but ran off when confronted.

Nov. 1: Between 9-9:42, an unknown susect broke the rear glass door of a business on the 1400 block of Rome Ave. in Violetville, but no items were missing.
