'Wicked Baltimore' Author Appearing at Arbutus Library

The Friends of the Arbutus Library is presenting an evening with Lauren Silberman, author of Wicked Baltimore: Charm City Sin and Scandal, a new book "revealing the sinister and scintillating face of Charm City."

Silberman's book explores the dark side of the city; the Block, the Plug Uglies, the Prohibition secrets of The Belvedere's Owl Bar and more.

A former resident of Oaklee, Silberman currently lives in Greenbelt.

A book signing will follow Silberman's talk, and with light refreshments will be provided.

Silberman will be at the Arbutus Branch Library, 855 Sulphur Spring Road, on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
