1 Dead, 23 Injured In Weekend Party Bus Crash On I-95: MD State Police

One person was killed and 23 injured when the driver of a party bus hit the guardrail on I-95 near Belcamp early Sunday morning, police say.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD ? One person died and 23 were injured when the driver of a private bus lost control and hit a guardrail along I-95, officials said.

Shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday, Maryland State Police were called to the scene of the crash at mile marker 77. Emergency calls began coming in around 6 a.m. about the crash of "a party bus" in the northbound lanes of the interstate before the exit for MD-542 near Belcamp, according to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. Police said the bus was a Ford E-450 built for multiple occupancy.

It was not immediately known where the bus was coming from and where it was going, police said. According to a post by the volunteer fire company on X, formerly known as Twitter, the bus belonged to Just Becuz Entertainment, which is based in Philadelphia. The company's website says it provides transportation from Philadelphia to New York, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

The Maryland State Police reported that one person on the bus was pronounced dead on the scene while several other passengers were taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment; some were listed in serious condition, the fire department stated.

All northbound lanes of I-95 were closed for a period of time for the investigation. No charges have been filed as of Sunday, according to the MSP.
