Girl, 15, Has Returned Home: Harford County Sheriff

A missing teen who disappeared in mid July has come home safely, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The 15-year-old girl who went missing from Edgewood July 18 returned more than a week later, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said that Taryn McVicker returned home Saturday, July 27.

She was unharmed, according to officials.

PREVIOUS REPORT — A teen is missing in Harford County, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said she is likely carrying a black and white checkered Vans book bag.

Taryn Alexandria McVicker, 15, was last seen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, officials reported.

At the time, she was in the 3800 block of Monument Circle in Abingdon.

She is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 110 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
