MARYLAND ? A 179-year-old family-owned business will trade hands this summer, shutting the door on a history of helping residents with their projects. Chipotle will open a new restaurant with a drive-thru and Duke's Grocery will open its first Maryland location.

Chipotle Opens New Restaurant With Drive-Thru

A Chipotle opened on April 22 with a twist ? a drive-thru, dubbed a Chipotlane, to pick up digital pre-orders. Customers can order in advance on chipotle.com or the Chipotle mobile application.

In 2010, Nomie Hamid launched his first brick-and-mortar restaurant, Krazi Kebob, not far from the University of Maryland. After 10 years, the third-generation restaurateur was forced to permanently close his doors, so he brought to life his vision of a digital food hall and set up shop in the commercial space that is now Virtual X Kitchen.

Duke's Grocery To Open Eatery In Maryland

The sixth location of Duke?s Grocery will open a pub-style restaurant this fall at Potomac Village Shopping Center in Potomac, according to media reports. The Duke?s will be the first Maryland location for the restaurant chain.

Silver Diner Opening In The Avenue At White Marsh With Reimagined Menu

The first Silver Diner in Baltimore County since 2001 and the 10th in Maryland opened this week with a revamped menu. And its the first Silver Diner to serve breakfast.
