3 Summertime Road Projects Will Prompt Lane Closures In Harford County

Three road projects that start in May and will run through mid-summer will require temporary lane closures in Harford County.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD ? Starting Monday, drivers should make alternate plans if traveling on MD 147, MD 152 and MD 24D. Two repaving projects will start May 6 and a third on May 13.

They all will last through mid-summer, weather permitting.

Starting Monday at 9 a.m., crews will begin a pavement patching project on MD 147 (Harford Road) between the Baltimore County line (Little Gunpowder Falls) and MD 152 (Fallston Road/Mountain Road). There will be temporary daytime lane closures with flagging operations weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Starting Wednesday at 9 a.m., crews will begin a resurfacing project on MD 24D (Connector Road) between MD 24 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway and US 40 (Pulaski Highway) near Edgewood. There will be temporary daytime lane closures with flagging operations weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnights 9 p.m. - 5 a.m., Sunday ? Thursday.

Then on May 13, crews will start a pavement patching project on MD 152 between US 1 (Belair Road) and Connolly Road. Drivers can expect temporary daytime lane closures with flagging operations weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
