Alchemy Elements Opening Soon in Bel Air Town Center

Restaurant has set opening date.

Bel Air will soon have a new fine-casual option for those looking to dine out.

Alchemy Elements in the Bel Air Town Center plans to open on Nov. 30, after receiving final approval from the Harford County Liquor Control Board on Wednesday, board staff reported.

Owners sommelier/pastry artist Debi Bell-Matassa and chef Michael Matassa are also the founders of the Hampden restaurant Alchemy, and the couple used to own Fusion Grille in Fallston.

The Harford County natives are expanding their fine-casual concept to Alchemy Elements in Bel Air, located in the 3,070-square-foot space where Open Door Cafe used to be.

The restaurant will serve up lunch, dinner and brunch, with extensive mixed drink and beer offerings, including a rotating craft beer on tap.

Some dishes on the Alchemy Elements menu include crab mac and cheese, turkey pear and gruyere sandwich, chorizo burger, quinoa spinach salad, caramelized brussels sprouts, pecan-crusted lamb chops and honey ancho salmon.

Alchemy Elements is at 528 Baltimore Pike.
