Bel Air COVID-19 Patient Released After 3-Month Treatment: Report
A Bel Air woman who was hospitalized with the coronavirus is reportedly turning home after 93 days.
BALTIMORE, MD — A woman who lives in Bel Air and was diagnosed with COVID-19 in November is reportedly home after more than 90 days of hospitalization and rehabilitation.
Antoinette Woods, 51, was intubated and on lung support during her 93-day battle with the virus and double pneumonia, according to WBFF, which reported a crowd celebrated her release outside a rehabilitation center Monday in Baltimore.

Nearly 34,000 people have been hospitalized in Maryland from the beginning of the pandemic to Monday, Feb. 15, according to the Maryland Department of Health.
There are 1,113 people hospitalized Monday statewide with COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, officials say, a decrease of more than 50 patients in the last day.

On Jan. 11, there were 1,940 hospitalized in Maryland with the virus, so in the past five weeks, hospitalizations statewide have decreased by 827 people. There have also been 1,271 deaths attributed to COVID-19 during that time in Maryland, where the death toll is 7,400 as of Monday.
