Bel Air Swimmer Breaks State Record: Arena Club

The Arena Club reports a 15-year-old swimming record has been broken.

BEL AIR, MD — A swimmer for The Arena Club in Bel Air recently broke a 15-year swimming record, according to the gym.

"Congratulations Alex Dillon! He set the Maryland Swimming Area State Record for the 11-12 50 fly. He broke a 15-year-old record and MD Swimming gave him an amazing certificate and bag tag, so awesome!" The Arena Club shared on its Facebook page. "It was also a new team record! He also broke the team record for the 50 free with a time of 23.55 and the 100 free with a 53.44. Great job Alex!"

Dillon broke team and state records during the Columbus Day Classic at UMBC, according to The Aegis.
