Broken Water Pipe Floods Bel Air Elementary, School Canceled
HCPS officials reported a broken water pipe at Bel Air Elementary that caused flooding issues. School was canceled Thursday.
BEL AIR, MD ? Harford County Public Schools officials announced early Thursday that Bel Air Elementary had to close for the day due to a flooding issue stemming from a broken water pipe.
Officials stated on the school website that they expected the mess to be cleaned up Thursday in time for school to resume Friday.
"We look forward to welcoming students and staff back to school tomorrow, Friday, May 10," Jillian Lader of Harford County Public Schools said.
