Colby M. Tarleton, 14
A memorial service has been planned for the boy who was lost this week in Harford County.
Colby Matthew Tarleton passed away July 31. He was 14.
He was the son of Jay and Christina (Barnhart) Tarleton; brother of Harlow Tarleton; grandson of Doris (Akehurst) and the late J. Frank Tarleton and Joseph and Gina Barnhart; nephew of Doris (Tarleton) and Nathan Pendergrass and Tony and Megan Barnhart; and cousin of Macy, Bristol and Penny. He was also the great grandson of Fran LaRossa and leaves behind a host of extended family members and classmates from the Highlands School, according to his obituary.
Colby loved looking for bugs, running 5K races and weather watching, among other activities, his obituary said.

In lieu of flowers, people may send contributions to the Highlands School or Autism Awareness.
Visitation will be at E. F. Lassahn Funeral Home, 11750 Belair Road from 7-9 p.m.on Tuesday, Aug. 6. There will be another visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Lassahn Funeral Home. Those in attendance are asked to wear flip-flops and summer attire.
Interment will be private.
