Crashes Slow I-95 In Harford County: Officials

Multiple incidents snarled traffic Friday in Harford County.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Multiple traffic events in Harford County slowed traffic along Interstate 95 Friday afternoon.

Traffic cameras showed slowdowns on I-95 from Abingdon until the Tydings Bridge.

The delays began around 2 p.m. and persisted into the evening rush on both I-95 and US 40.

A three-vehicle crash was reported on I-95 south past the exit for MD 22 after 2 p.m., state transportation officials reported.

Traffic was slowed south of MD 22 as a result.

Another incident was slowing northbound traffic on I-95 for travelers headed to Cecil County.

The right lane was closed south of the Tydings Bridge, leading to backups toward Havre de Grace.

Delays began Friday morning when a tractor-trailer jackknifed in the area. Cleanup continued until about 6 p.m.
